Customer: You know those upper circle seats – what we talking, gradient wise?
Me: How do you mean? The seating is tiered so–
C: I mean can you show me with your arm the gradient of the seating? Like this *makes a slope with his arm*. So I can see the angle of the seats, but then can you show me how that compares to the gradient of the upper circle seats at say, Lion King, as well please? Just with your arm.
Me: I haven’t used a protractor since I was 15, I especially haven’t toured all of the theatres measuring the gradient of their seats with one. But let’s just assume it’s a 180 degree sheer drop, and then anything else will be a pleasant surprise on arrival.
